because Emmers will help herself when you aren't looking.
When she is done keeping your spot warm at the table, she will attempt to swipe your bowl for safe keeping.
Ultimately, the bowl will win, & she will be left with a shirt full of soggy granola.
The lose of precious food will then send her into a screaming outburst of tears that no amount of new cereal bowls can fix.
Her only comfort against spilt milk in her trusty blanket,
& a quick retreat to her bedroom for a nap.
